It's unfortunate that so much of NLP is presented as fact, without being tested in even the most cursory way.  It's vitally important that those of us with credentials in the field of clinical research commit to NLP Research via rigorous investigation of the claims of NLP.

The benefits of NLP Research are highly desirable:

  • NLP Research enables us to quickly identify spurious principles and practices so that we can eliminate useless or unnecessary aspects of training or subsequent application.
  • NLP Research enables us to better identify and measure the validity of NLP principles, and the efficacy of NLP techniques.
  • NLP Research enables us to build on what actually does work, instead of wasting time with unvalidated nonsense.
  • NLP Research helps to protect the public against unscrupulous or misguided NLP trainers or users of NLP.
  • NLP Research enables us to continue to develop the field in the most efficient way possible.

Please note that the NLP Research papers below use the term "BMSA" to describe the NLP techniques tested in each NLP Research project.  This is because the area of interest was the elimination of problematic conditioned responses, and we were testing the hypothesis that this aspect of NLP was a mechanism responsible for the level of efficacy that clinical observation had suggested.

Feel free to share these NLP Research papers amongst friends and colleagues.
