Intimate Partners
2-Day Program

This program is designed for people in intimate relationships, as a way of enhancing the quality of the relationship from the perspective of the partners.  Thus it focuses primarily on issues relating to communication and sexuality, and most partners (or individuals within a partnership) will find this highly-practical program beneficial.

The program obviously cannot substitute for the degree of care and supervision required in partnerships that are abusive or violent and individuals who are currently suffering in such a relationship would be better served to locate help for their physical and emotional protection as a primary concern.

For the same reasons, this program does not purport to offer 24-hour assistance, and is not in any way an emergency service.  Rather it provides a way of learning about and using an array of strategies and techniques to enhance communication and sexual expression, in a supportive, guided environment.

It is entirely possible to achieve enormous improvement in a relationship even with a partner who refuses to co-operate, and therefore single participants are also welcome to this program!

We work with you to examine each area of your relationship to determine where the partners would like to create positive change.  These are:

• Powerful listening

• Criticism - responding resourcefully

• Healthy boundaries and fair fighting

• Meeting needs more precisely - increasing the odds

• Home as a "safe harbour"

• Co-dependency vs interdependence

• Sexual needs and sexual communication

The Steps You Need to Take

Live Program

The live program runs for 2 days, with participants gaining much greater awareness not only of the factors which allow a highly-satisfying experience of intimacy, but which they discover are easy, comfortable, and usually rapidly improved.  The program includes a major focus on the elicitation and matching of individual visions for the relationship and for the future, and this is the key aspect which allows the rest to unfold, naturally and easily.

Fees

Fees are negotiated in each case dependent upon associated costs.  As an indication of the fee payable, for a group size of 20, fees are $2500 per day plus venue, travel and accommodation where necessary.
